As Executive Vice President of ComplianceMAX Financial, Mitchell oversees product development and marketing. His focus is to ensure that the products and services offered by ComplianceMAX Financial are meeting the needs of our customers and are consistent with the firm's strategic focus.
Prior to ComplianceMAX Financial, Mitchell was a Senior Information Technology Officer at TD Waterhouse Investor Services Inc., the world's second largest discount broker. At TD Waterhouse Mitchell was responsible for all IT functions related to the Institutional Services division, which provides financial services to Independent Investment Advisors. Under his direction, TD Waterhouse Institutional Services grew to become one of the nation's top three companies servicing Investment Advisors.
Prior to TD Waterhouse, Mitchell served as Chief Technology Officer for Jack White & Company, a successful Internet Discount Broker that was rated number one in the United States three years in a row by Smart Money Magazine, a Wall Street Journal publication. At Jack White & Company, Mitchell led the transformation of the company from a traditional financial firm with no technology infrastructure to a leading Internet Discount Broker. The tremendous success of the firm led to its acquisition in 1998 by Waterhouse Securities Inc. for an estimated $US: 110 million.
Mitchell received B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from San Diego State University. He has also held National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) Licenses 7, 24, and 63.
